Master Courses

Viking Connection Master Courses feature visiting master artists who teach at various host sites and events in the upper-Midwest.

The 2018 master artists are Seattle-based woodcarver, Jay Haavik, and Swedish culinary archaeologist, Daniel Serra.

DANIEL SERRA INFORMATION AND COURSE DATES

Swedish culinary archaeologist and co-author of “An Early Meal: A Viking Age Cookbook and Culinary Odyssey,” will return in September, 2018 for a series of events.

  • September 11-18th at North House Folk School in Grand Marais, MN
  • September 20-24 at the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay, WI
  • September 26-29 at Norsk Høstfest in Minot, ND
